brand identity and interior design
hardy boys records, 2023-present
Fun fact: outside of being a designer, I co-own a record store with my husband, Dean.
Our store, Hardy Boys Records, has three locations, with the flagship at Camp North End in Charlotte, NC. We opened in October 2023, and it's been an exciting, whirlwind journey. Sharing our love of music with the Charlotte community has been one of our greatest joys!
Another joy? Building the Hardy Boys Records brand! As any designer knows, branding yourself is no easy task. Creating the brand for our small business was a challenging but rewarding experience. I designed everything—from the logo and visual identity to our merchandise (t-shirts, hats, stickers), the photo booth, the exterior sign, and even the store's interior design and vibe.
This project is something I'm incredibly proud of, not just because it's close to my heart, but because it pushed me to grow as a designer in so many ways.
